Sprinklr vs Profound (2026): Listening-Built Prompts or an Enterprise Agent Suite?
Sprinklr LLM Insights builds prompts from your own listening and care data, on a contracted prompt meter. Profound sells marketing agents, with Enterprise around $40k a year. Both compared on price, engines and fit, plus the dedicated platform to check first.
Two very different enterprise purchases end up on the same shortlist here. Sprinklr LLM Insights is a capability inside Sprinklr Insights, so you can't buy it without the wider consumer intelligence platform. Profound is a standalone vendor whose product is now sold as marketing agents for AEO and SEO, content and demand, and PR. AI search tracking is one part of that.
The real buying question: do you want AI tracking inside the CX platform you already run, or a new agent suite from a separate vendor? Both cost serious money at the tier most enterprises would need. Promptwatch is our benchmark in the table, and we rank it above both, because it is a dedicated AI visibility platform with published plans and the crawler and traffic layers neither of these publishes.

Sprinklr LLM Insights: prompts from real conversations
Most trackers ask you to guess what customers type into ChatGPT. Sprinklr starts from what they actually say. It suggests five prompt pillars from the past 60 days of social listening, then generates 50 prompts by default from social, news, brand pillar and customer care signals. You can edit, add or remove them. Reports come in five types: brand, competitor (up to five competitors), region, industry and negative brand perception. Coverage includes Google AI Overview and Microsoft Copilot as well as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
The meter is the catch. Your subscription includes a fixed prompt volume, and every refresh counts. Sprinklr's own example: a 50-prompt report that refreshes daily uses 50 prompts a day, which is about 1,500 a month. A consumption dashboard warns you as you approach the cap, and extra prompts come through your account team at an unpublished rate. Sprinklr announced the capability on 10 June 2026 as a limited preview, with general availability planned for Q3 2026, so confirm what your contract covers today.
Profound: an agent suite with a tracker inside
Profound still runs scheduled prompts and reports citation share, share of voice and competitor cite-rates by prompt cluster. Its Prompt Volumes dataset, an estimate of query demand per prompt, is a real asset. The tiers:
| Profound plan | Price | Engines | Prompts | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $99/mo, billed yearly | ChatGPT | 50 | 1 |
| Growth | $399/mo, billed yearly | 3 | 100 | 3 |
| Enterprise | From about $40k/yr | Up to 10 | Custom | Custom |
The Profound people talk about (ten engines, the full Prompt Volumes data, agents, API, SSO and SOC 2) is Enterprise. Starter and Growth are small slices of it, billed annually, with a 7-day trial on Growth. And the homepage now leads with generic marketing agents rather than AI search, so a buyer who only wants a tracker is paying for a broader suite.
Head-to-head
- You already run Sprinklr Insights: Sprinklr. Prompts built from your own care and listening data beat a hand-written list, and the reports sit where your CX team already works.
- You don't run Sprinklr: Profound. Buying a CX platform to get an AI tracker makes no sense.
- Large enterprise with a $40k budget that wants agents for content and PR as well as tracking: Profound. That is the job its Enterprise tier is built for.
- You need to watch more than five competitors: Profound, since Sprinklr's competitor reports cap at five.
- You want to test before signing: Profound, narrowly. Growth has a 7-day trial. Sprinklr needs LLM Insights permissions on an existing account.
Where Promptwatch fits
Compare the entry points first. Profound Starter is $99/mo, billed yearly, for 50 ChatGPT prompts. Promptwatch Essential is $95/mo, billed monthly, for 50 prompts run daily across every tracked LLM, with 6,000 responses and 200K visitor events. That's a better deal at the same budget.
Then the layers. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and Meta AI crawler hits from your CDN, with crawl-to-citation paths and error tracking. Citation analytics separate page, domain, Reddit and YouTube sources. Visitor analytics connect AI-referred sessions to conversions. Content Agents run gap analysis, write the page and publish it to Webflow or Framer after review. For retail brands, ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar cover product listings and sponsored placements inside AI answers. Neither Sprinklr nor Profound publishes those layers.
Crawler logs start on Professional at $245/mo with 150 prompts and 25M crawler logs. Business at $579/mo raises that to 350 prompts across 5 projects. Even Business costs well under a fifth of Profound's Enterprise starting point on an annual basis.
Verdict
Sprinklr is the right add-on for Sprinklr customers, and only for them. Profound beats it for a standalone enterprise buyer who wants a marketing agent program and has the budget for Enterprise. For the narrower job of measuring and improving AI search visibility, Promptwatch is our pick over both. It publishes its plans and starts at the same price as Profound's ChatGPT-only tier, and it is the only one of the three with crawler logs and AI-referred conversions on the record.
FAQ
How is Sprinklr LLM Insights priced?
On a contracted prompt volume inside Sprinklr Insights. Each prompt counts every time its report refreshes, and Sprinklr publishes no dollar figure.
Is Profound's $99 plan enough?
For a ChatGPT-only test, perhaps. It's billed yearly, covers 50 prompts and one seat, and leaves out the engines and agents that Enterprise includes.
Should I evaluate Promptwatch before Sprinklr or Profound?
Yes, unless you already own Sprinklr Insights or have budgeted for Profound Enterprise. Promptwatch's Explore plan is free, Essential has a 7-day trial, and the crawler logs (from Professional at $245) plus conversion data cover what the other two leave out.
