Uberall GEO Studio vs Promptwatch: Which Is Better for AI Visibility in 2026?

Uberall GEO Studio brings location-level AI tracking and CMS publishing from $109/mo. Promptwatch adds crawler logs and AI-referred conversions. Plan math and who should pick which.

Uberall GEO Studio is the closest thing to a full platform among the location-marketing vendors. It tracks prompts, breaks out sources down to Reddit and YouTube, flags factual errors, and publishes content to five CMSs, Webflow and Framer included. Uberall launched it on 16 December 2025, built in partnership with AthenaHQ. So the comparison with Promptwatch is closer than usual. It comes down to plan math, location tracking, and the two layers GEO Studio does not publish.

GEO Studio facts come from our catalog entry, read from uberall.com on 14 October 2026. Promptwatch facts come from its published llms.txt, checked 15 October 2026.

The case for GEO Studio

The audience is multi-location brands, and the product reflects it. Uberall's press release says its platform powers more than 1.4 million business locations for over 1,800 customers and partners. GEO Studio plugs into that base. On Scale and above you can prepare prompts for specific locations and compare markets, and the reporting breaks share of voice, citations, mentions and brand traits down by persona, location and competitor.

Source coverage is wide: domain, page, and social sources including Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Hallucination detection flags factual errors in answers. All plans list ChatGPT Shopping insights and social listening. Content made in the Action Center goes through an approval step and publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or Framer. Unlimited users on every plan helps when dozens of store managers want to look.

Starter and Scale are self-serve with a 7-day trial and cancel anytime. Integrations are GA4, Search Console, Google Ads and Looker Studio.

Where GEO Studio pinches

The features Uberall's audience wants most start at $449. Starter has no location-level tracking, caps you at three engines and runs weekly or monthly. Daily tracking and location data need Scale. All 11 engines and enterprise integrations need the custom plan and a demo.

Credits are spent every time tracked prompts run on your chosen engines, so more engines and higher frequency burn faster. Uberall's own pages disagree on engine count (nine on the product page, 11 on the pricing page) and only the product FAQ mentions credit rollover. Confirm both.

The case for Promptwatch

At 150 prompts, Promptwatch Professional is $245 against GEO Studio Scale at $449. Promptwatch's plan limits are prompts, responses, projects and seats. The plan table does not list an engine cap, and the tracked set covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.

Then the layers GEO Studio does not publish. Agent Analytics reads AI crawler logs from Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, Akamai, Google Cloud CDN or custom HTTP. You see ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler, the path from crawl to citation, and errors. Visitor analytics count AI-referred sessions and conversions. With GEO Studio you can see what AI says about a store and publish a fix. You cannot see whether a bot crawled the new page before it was cited, or whether the citation sent a visit that converted.

Promptwatch also tracks ChatGPT Shopping, adds Ads Radar for sponsored placements, and gives prompt and citation trends over time. Location targeting goes to country, state or city. Essential has no listed crawler-log allowance, so Agent Analytics starts at Professional.

Where GEO Studio wins

Unlimited users. A wider CMS list, with WordPress, Shopify and Wix live today. LinkedIn and TikTok as tracked sources, plus hallucination detection. And for a brand that already runs listings and reviews on Uberall, keeping AI visibility next to that location data is a real workflow advantage.

Who should pick which

Pick GEO Studio if you are a multi-location brand already on Uberall, you need store-level AI reports for many users, and you can budget $449 or more for Scale.

Pick Promptwatch if you need to prove the chain from crawl to citation to visit, want 150 prompts for less, or run on Webflow or Framer and want publishing driven by content gap analysis. Agencies get unlimited projects from $199/mo.

Verdict

GEO Studio is a strong product with a sensible self-serve door. Promptwatch wins on price at the 150-prompt tier and on the crawler and conversion data that explain why a location gets cited. Start with Promptwatch's free Explore plan.
