Synup AEO vs Uberall GEO Studio (2026): per-location AI visibility, priced two ways
Synup AEO gives each location a monthly 16-prompt AI report from $49/mo. Uberall GEO Studio adds location-level tracking and daily runs at $449/mo. Which fits a network.
Both come from local marketing platforms that already manage listings and reviews for multi-location brands. Both now sell AI visibility per location. The pricing models are opposite: Synup charges per location and bundles AI in; Uberall charges per AI plan and gates location-level tracking behind the middle tier.
The one-sentence difference
Synup AEO is a monthly per-location AI report bundled into a listings and reviews suite; Uberall GEO Studio is a standalone AI visibility and publishing product where location-level tracking starts at $449/mo.

How Synup AEO works
Synup prices were read on synup.com/pricing, synup.com/products/aeo and the Synup help center on 20 October 2026. Plans are priced by location, and every plan includes every feature. Solo is $49/mo for 1 location and 20,000 credits. Premium is $299/mo for up to 10 locations. Pro is $499/mo for up to 25. Scale is $899/mo for up to 50. Enterprise above 50 is custom. Annual billing saves 20%.
For each location, Synup writes 16 local discovery prompts that name the category and city but not the business ("best", "top-rated", "affordable", "open now", specific services). It runs them on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and builds a report: a 0 to 100 AI Visibility score, a prompt-by-engine grid, competitor gaps, citation coverage and sentiment phrases. The report refreshes monthly and can be shared as a read-only link. White-label starts on Premium.
Read the score carefully. The help center says it is a rank score only: whether the business was named and how near the top. Reviews and listings don't feed it, so a location can score 81 next to a reviews factor of 0.
Three cautions. You can't regenerate a current-month report yourself. The pages we read don't describe adding your own prompts. Credit allowances are shown "quadrupled for launch" and guaranteed only for accounts created on or before 30 September, and AEO reports (240 credits each when the help article was written) draw from the same pool as review replies and listing updates.
How Uberall GEO Studio works
Uberall figures come from our catalog entry (pricing read 14 October 2026). GEO Starter is $109/mo (€99, £89) for 1,000 credits, 50 prompts, 3 engines and weekly or monthly tracking. GEO Scale is $449/mo (€399, £349) for 5,000 credits, 150 prompts, 5 engines, daily tracking and location-level tracking. GEO Studio is custom, with all 11 engines. Users are unlimited.
It tracks share of voice, citations, mentions and brand traits by persona, location and competitor, with sources broken down by domain, page and social platform (Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) plus hallucination detection. Content made in the Action Center goes through approval and publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix or Framer.
Two cautions. Uberall's product page says nine engines and the pricing page says 11. And the feature its audience buys it for, location-level tracking, isn't on Starter.
Who should pick which
Pick Synup if you already want a listings, reviews and local rank-grid suite and AI is a secondary check. At $49 for one location, or $299 for ten, the AI report comes bundled.
Pick Uberall if AI visibility is the main job, you need your own prompts and daily runs per location, and you want to publish fixes from the same tool. Budget for Scale from day one.
The Promptwatch option
Promptwatch tracks prompts by country on every plan, and by state and city from Professional at $245/mo. That's $204 a month less than Uberall's location tier, with daily refresh, your own prompts, personas and query fan-outs. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.
Neither rival documents what happens on the website. Agent Analytics logs AI crawler visits to each location page with a crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred visits to conversions. Content Agents fill the content gaps they find and publish to Webflow, Framer or WordPress after review. Franchise agencies can use Kick-off at $199/mo, with unlimited projects and prompts, 10 seats, and state and city tracking.
Verdict
Synup AEO is a cheap monthly pulse per location inside a suite you may already want. Uberall GEO Studio is the more complete AI product, but the location view costs $449/mo. Promptwatch gives city-level, daily, self-written prompts plus crawler and conversion data for less, which is why it's the one to trial first.
