Rankability vs Scrunch AI (2026): many clients on a budget, or one brand with bot data?

Rankability covers 11 AI platforms, unlimited client workspaces and content production from $97 a month. Scrunch AI Core is $250 for one brand, four LLMs and real AI bot traffic reporting. How they differ and who each suits.

The quickest way to tell Rankability and Scrunch AI apart is to count workspaces. Rankability gives you unlimited client workspaces on every plan. Scrunch Core gives you one brand workspace. That single line sorts most buyers before price even comes up.

Under it sits a deeper split. Rankability is an agency SEO workspace that added AI answer tracking. Scrunch is an AI visibility platform whose distinctive idea, its Agent Experience Platform (AXP), serves AI-optimized versions of pages to LLM crawlers while human visitors see the normal site.

Rankability was read from rankability.com on 28 October 2026. Scrunch AI figures come from its entry in our catalog, read from its pricing page on 24 October 2026. Our entry also notes that Sitecore acquired Scrunch in June 2026.

Crawler evidence: Scrunch's edge

On one point Scrunch is clearly ahead. Its Core plan includes AI agent and bot traffic reporting, which means activity that actually happened on your site. Rankability's Site Auditor checks AI crawler access from robots.txt, and its own page says that evidence "does not prove that a platform has cited the page." If you need to know whether AI crawlers are visiting, Scrunch answers that and Rankability doesn't.

AXP goes a step further, acting on crawler traffic instead of only reporting it. It's on Enterprise, though, not Core.

Coverage and scale: Rankability's edge

Rankability tracks saved queries daily on up to 11 platforms: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Brave AI, DeepSeek and Meta AI. All 11 come with Starter at $97 a month. Scrunch Core tracks four LLMs: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. Gemini and Claude aren't among them. Nine LLMs are on Enterprise.

Seats follow the same pattern. Core includes five user licenses; Rankability has unlimited team members on every plan.

Volume needs a little care. Scrunch Core lists 125 unique prompts and 5,000 responses a month. Our entry doesn't define a response, but if it means one answer from one LLM, then 125 prompts on four LLMs every day would need 15,000 responses a month. At 5,000, you'd run them about every third day, or a smaller set daily. Rankability Starter lists 100 queries checked daily, shared across all clients.

How each one helps you improve

Scrunch's route runs through the crawler: site audits (five a month on Core), sentiment, insights and recommendations, and on Enterprise, AXP. Rankability's route runs through content. Every plan includes content projects with briefs, drafts and two AI revisions, and Automate can deliver scheduled drafts to WordPress, Webflow or a GitHub pull request, held for review by default. Rankability also brings weekly Google rank tracking, Local Pack scans, page and site audits and backlink monitoring, none of which Scrunch's entry lists.

Scrunch's page shows no tier between Core and Enterprise, so growth means a sales conversation. Rankability's tiers are published, with a 7-day card-required trial on monthly billing.

Who should pick which

Pick Rankability if you're an agency, if you want wide platform coverage at a low price, or if content and Google rankings are still most of the work. Pick Scrunch AI if you're a single brand that wants real bot traffic data now and may want AXP later, and Core's four LLMs cover where your buyers ask.

The measurement layer

Neither publishes the full chain from crawl to citation to conversion. Rankability has no published crawler logs or AI-referred conversion tracking. Scrunch shows bot traffic, but its entry lists no crawl-to-citation path and no visitor analytics with conversions.

Promptwatch is the one we'd recommend for that job. Agent Analytics logs IP-verified hits from GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot and joins them to citations, with a citation rate per page and error explanations. Visitor analytics then attribute the AI-referred sessions to conversions. Logs start on Professional ($245/mo) and are on every agency plan, from Kick-off at $199/mo with unlimited projects and prompts.
