Rankability pricing 2026: plans, allowances and the shared-pool math

Rankability costs $97, $297 or $497 a month, with separate allowances for content, tracked AI queries, Google keywords, Local Pack scans and audits. What each plan buys, the annual math, and what the shared pool means per client.

Rankability prices by job, not by seat or by client. Each plan lists separate monthly allowances, and every client workspace on the account draws from them. So the number that decides your plan is how many clients you split it between.

The three plans

Per monthStarter $97Agency $297Agency Pro $497
Content projects2080160
Tracked AI queries (daily, up to 11 platforms)100300500
Google keywords (weekly, top 30)50150250
Local Pack scans103050
Page audits2080160
Site audits (up to 1,000 pages)21025

Google Business Profile and brand audits follow the site-audit counts. All three plans include unlimited client workspaces and team members, the 11 AI platforms, API and MCP. Agency adds priority support and one onboarding session; Agency Pro adds onboarding and campaign planning. Enterprise capacity is scoped on a sales call.

A content project is one new page or one refresh, two AI revisions included. A tracked AI query is one saved question checked daily across whichever platforms you select. A Google keyword is one keyword in one location and language, and monthly keyword checks are capped at 250, 750 and 1,250 including manual refreshes, which is five checks per keyword. One Local Pack scan covers a 5x5 grid; a 7x7 grid uses two scans and a 9x9 uses four. Nothing rolls over.

Annual math

Annual billing is the price of ten months: $970, $2,970 or $4,970. Against twelve monthly payments ($1,164, $3,564 and $5,964) that saves $194, $594 or $994 a year, an effective $81, $248 and $414 a month. Annual Agency Pro also includes the Gotch Inner Circle: weekly Tuesday group coaching with Nathan Gotch, recordings and a private community.

Trial terms

Each paid plan offers a 7-day free trial. You need a card, trial usage is limited, and the plan starts at list price after seven days unless you cancel in Billing. Annual plans and demos come without a trial, so the trial only applies if you start on monthly billing.

Legacy pricing

The FAQ says existing paying customers keep their legacy price while the subscription stays active. That's why older reviews quote a different Starter price and a credit model. Neither applies to a new account.

What the shared pool means per client

Each plan split evenly across a plausible client count:

Per client, per monthStarter, 5 clientsAgency, 10 clientsAgency Pro, 20 clients
Tracked AI queries203025
Content projects488
Google keywords101512 or 13

Two things stand out. First, if you put the whole plan price against one allowance, the tracked-query price barely moves: $0.97 per query a month on Starter, $0.99 on Agency and about $0.99 on Agency Pro. Upgrading buys more of everything; it doesn't make AI tracking cheaper. Content projects do get cheaper, from $4.85 each on Starter to about $3.71 on Agency and $3.11 on Agency Pro.

Second, 20 to 30 tracked queries per client is a narrow sample. That may be enough for a client with one product in one market. For a client with several services and regions it isn't, and giving one client more means giving another less.

Audits and Local Pack scans thin out fastest. Starter's two site audits can't cover five clients in the same month. Split ten ways, Agency's 30 scans are three per client, and a single 9x9 grid uses four. Across the account, those 30 scans become 15 7x7 grids or seven 9x9 grids.

How it compares with Promptwatch's published plans

The units differ: Rankability counts saved queries, while Promptwatch counts prompts and responses.

Near $95, Rankability Starter ($97) gives unlimited clients, 100 queries and 20 content projects. Promptwatch Essential ($95) is one project with 50 prompts, 6,000 responses and 200K visitor events, and no crawler logs.

In the agency band, Promptwatch Kick-off ($199) has unlimited projects and prompts, 10,000 responses, 10 seats and 10M crawler logs, against Rankability Agency's 300 shared queries and 80 content projects at $297. Growth ($399) raises that to 25,000 responses and 25M crawler logs; Rankability Agency Pro ($497) gives 500 queries and 160 content projects.

Promptwatch's 7-day trial is on monthly billing for Essential, Professional, Kick-off and Growth; Business and Agency Scale have none. Its agency plans don't include the automated Content Agent, which starts on Business ($579/mo).

Our read

If most of your billable hours are briefs and drafts, Rankability's content allowance is good value and the AI tracker is a sensible add-on. If AI visibility is what clients pay for, the shared query pool and the robots.txt crawler check become the constraint. Promptwatch agency plans remove the per-client prompt cap and include Agent Analytics crawler logs and visitor analytics with conversions on every tier, from $199/mo.
