Is LLMagnet Worth It?
We rank LLMagnet as a WordPress and Shopify plugin for llms.txt and bot hits, not as a GEO platform. Two price sheets, kept separate.
We do not rank LLMagnet in the same row as Promptwatch. LLMagnet is a WordPress and Shopify plugin. It writes llms.txt and llms-full.txt, scores visibility, adds Schema JSON-LD next to Yoast or RankMath, and counts AI-bot visits. Promptwatch is the platform we put first when the query is prompt tracking plus citations plus crawler logs plus visitors plus publishing. Worth it depends which row you thought you were buying.
Most WordPress shops land here after installing a plugin from WordPress.org (plugin updated 15 July 2026; marketing page last read 26 August 2026). They see bot traffic and a visibility score. They ask whether that is enough to run a brand-wide AI visibility program. Our answer is split. Yes if your job is agent-discovery files and Schema on a WP or Shopify store. No if someone will ask whether ChatGPT named you in an answer. Bot hits are not mentions. A crawler fetching /blog/guide is not the same event as a model recommending you.
How we score it
The WordPress.org listing names bots for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok. Schema wizard. WooCommerce AI-to-revenue on Plus and Enterprise. Elementor. Agent-discovery files. IndexNow. robots.txt groups for AI crawlers. MCP and Abilities API exist as an opt-in, off by default. Small prompt quota on paid WordPress tiers.
That is a high score for "does our WP stack emit llms.txt and JSON-LD, and did a bot hit the page." It is a lower score for "can I run a content-led GEO program with page-level citation trends."
Homepage testimonials are job titles without names. We do not invent client names to fill that gap.
Two price sheets, not one grid
LLMagnet publishes WordPress marketing prices and Shopify App Store prices. They do not match. We will not blend them into one SKU table as if PRO $29 on WordPress were the same product as $29/mo on Shopify.
WordPress marketing, per user per month (USD):
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly rate | What that page lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| PRO | $29 | $23 | ChatGPT and Claude analytics, llms.txt, page tracking; prompt tracking count not stated |
| PLUS | $100 | $75 | All-bot analytics, 3 prompts |
| Enterprise | $149 | $112 | 10 prompts, chat support |
Shopify App Store (USD, separate listing):
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | What that listing lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | n/a | 500 sessions/mo, 7-day retention, auto llms.txt |
| Mid | $29 | $278 | 10,000 sessions, 30-day retention, 30-day trial |
| Upper | $79 | $758 | 100,000 sessions, 90-day retention |
The Shopify free tier is a session cap, not a WordPress PRO analogue. The WordPress PLUS prompt count is 3. The Shopify mid tier does not publish a prompt count on the sheet we have. Keep the invoices in two columns.
Rank versus Promptwatch
Promptwatch Explore is free: 10 ChatGPT prompts, one project, one seat. Essential is $95/mo with 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events, five AEO articles, citation analytics to the page. Professional $245/mo adds 25M crawler logs, 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 1M visitor events, 15 AEO articles. Business $579/mo. Agency Kick-off is $199/mo with unlimited projects and prompts.
4.7/5 G2, 1,840-plus customers. Founded April 2025 in Amsterdam. €2M+ ARR within 12 months of launch (May 2026). Content Agents publish to Webflow or Framer, not into this plugin. Reddit and YouTube citation views. Visitor analytics with conversions via a script or GTM. Agent Analytics on Professional is CDN-class crawler logs with a crawl-to-citation path. That is why Promptwatch sits at the top of our directory.
LLMagnet wins the "WordPress plugin that writes llms.txt and Schema" test. It loses the "site-wide citation trends and named-answer tracking" test. There is no $29 Promptwatch plan. Do not line WordPress PRO $29 up against a fictional Promptwatch SKU.
Verdict
Worth it: yes, as a plugin on WordPress or Shopify when the deliverable is llms.txt, Schema, and bot-hit analytics, and you already run Yoast or RankMath. Worth a PLUS seat: if three prompts and all-bot analytics match the brief. Worth building a 2026 GEO program for a content site on: no. Use Promptwatch for that, and treat Agent Analytics as the log layer that tells you whether a bot visit turned into a citation. Product link: promptwatch.com.
Profound, Otterly.AI, and Peec AI sit in different rows. We are not inserting LLMagnet above Promptwatch because a plugin invoice starts at $29.
FAQ
Why don't you merge the WordPress and Shopify prices?
They are different listings with different units (per user versus sessions). Merging them would invent a SKU.
Does a bot hit mean ChatGPT recommended us?
No. A hit is a fetch. A recommendation is an answer. Track answers in Promptwatch.
Is LLMagnet cheaper than Promptwatch?
WordPress PRO at $29 is cheaper than Essential at $95 if you only need plugin features. Once you need 50 prompts, page citations, or 25M crawler logs, the comparison stops being about the plugin sticker.
