GeoGen review (2026): daily checks from 20 EUR a month, metered in credits
GeoGen runs daily AI visibility checks on 2 to 7 chosen models from 20 EUR/mo billed yearly. Cheap entry, unclear credit math, crawler tracking still coming soon.
GeoGen is an AI visibility tracker with a registered address in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. You pick which models to track from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Copilot, Grok, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode. GeoGen runs your prompts on them daily and reports reach, share of voice and citation rate, mention insights per prompt, the domains and pages AI cites, competitor rankings and sentiment.
Its entry price is among the lowest in our catalog. Its documentation is among the thinnest. Both facts matter.
Who it's for: small brands and agencies that want daily checks in several regions and languages on a handful of models, and that will pay yearly.
What you get per plan
Pricing was read on geogen.io/pricing on 20 October 2026. All figures are EUR per month, billed yearly.
| Plan | Price | Entities | Models | Prompts | Credits a year | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | 20 EUR | 1 | 2 | 10 | 7,440 | 1 |
| Standard | 60 EUR | 2 | 4 | 50 | 74,400 | 2 |
| Growth | 199 EUR | 5 | 6 | 150 | 334,800 | 10 |
| Pro | 399 EUR | 15 | 7 | 300 | 892,800 | 10 |
| Custom | On request | Unlimited | All | Unlimited | Custom | Unlimited |
Every plan lists daily checks, competitor overview, website citations, "LLM traffic", unlimited countries, languages and tags, and email and ticket support. The page has a monthly toggle and says yearly is 20% cheaper. The monthly amounts are not in the page text, so the real month-to-month price is unknown.
What works
The floor. 20 EUR a month (billed yearly) buys daily checks on two models for 10 prompts, with unlimited countries and languages. The site says it supports 30+ languages. For a brand selling in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, that's three markets on the smallest plan.
The scaling. Growth gives 5 entities and 10 seats. Pro gives 15 entities. Shared workspaces have granular permissions. An agency with a few clients can grow without jumping to a custom contract.
Model choice. You decide which models count. A B2B brand can skip Grok and keep ChatGPT and AI Overviews.
What to check before paying
Credits. Credits limit how often prompts run on each model, on top of the prompt and model caps. The site mentions a calculator that multiplies prompts, tracking days and model weights. It does not say what one credit buys. Ask for the model weights in writing before choosing a plan, or you can't predict when daily checks stop.
Monthly price. Not shown. If you won't commit to a year, ask.
Crawler tracking. The homepage describes integrations with edge platforms and CMSs to track AI crawlers. The llms.txt lists the same thing under "Integration & Tracking (Coming Soon)". Treat it as not available.
Plan names. The llms.txt names Lite, Pro and Enterprise tiers. The pricing page shows Micro, Standard, Growth, Pro and Custom. Go by the pricing page, and read the mismatch as a sign of how closely the docs are maintained.
Social proof. The three testimonials carry names and job titles but no companies. The "trusted by" strip repeats one logo eight times. The site's claim to be "the first all-in-one platform for Generative Engine Optimization" is the vendor's own. None of it can be verified.
"LLM traffic". Listed on every plan with no explanation on the pages we read.
Where it falls short against a full platform
GeoGen measures answers. It does not yet show the AI crawler activity behind them, and its traffic feature is undefined. Prompt research is absent: no search volumes or difficulty scores on the pages we read. A daily tracker without those layers tells you that a number moved, not why, and not what it cost you.
When Promptwatch is the better buy
If the plan is to act on the data, Promptwatch is the stronger choice. Prompt tracking comes with search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, so you track prompts people ask. Agent Analytics is live, not coming soon: it logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and Meta AI visits from Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, Akamai, Google Cloud CDN or custom HTTP, with a crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics attributes AI-referred visits to conversions, which is what "LLM traffic" should mean.
Pricing is plain. No credits on top of prompts: each plan states prompts and responses. Essential is $95/mo for 50 prompts and 6,000 responses across all tracked LLMs. Professional is $245/mo for 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 25M crawler logs and state and city tracking. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10. For an agency, Kick-off at $199/mo includes unlimited projects and prompts and 10 seats.
GeoGen's Growth plan (199 EUR, 150 prompts) is the closest match on prompt count to Professional. Professional adds the crawler and conversion layers and a published response allowance.
Verdict
GeoGen is a cheap way to get daily checks across a few models and many regions. The credit math, missing monthly prices, coming-soon crawler tracking and unverifiable social proof mean you should trial it before trusting it. For data you can act on and explain to a client, start with Promptwatch.
