CiteLyzer review (2026): daily AI tracking in 17 countries from €15

CiteLyzer runs daily scans in 17 countries and 7 prompt languages from €15/mo excl. VAT. No Claude, no API, no crawler data. Here is what you get per plan and when to move up.

CiteLyzer is one of the cheapest daily AI visibility trackers in our catalog. €15 a month buys a daily scan of ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode for one domain. The full answer text is saved every time.

It is run by SOLID SOFTWARE Piotr Czerwiński in Poland and sells to businesses only. The pitch is local measurement: 17 countries and 7 prompt languages (Dutch, English, French, German, Polish, Slovak and Spanish), set per brand. The buyer is a freelancer, small agency or SME in Central or Western Europe adding AI visibility to a client report.

Plans and limits

Prices read on citelyzer.com/pricing on 20 October 2026, excluding VAT, monthly billing only.

PlanPriceIncludes
Mini€15/mo1 domain, up to 15 prompts, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode
Standard€39/moUnlimited brands, 50 prompts shared across them
Pro€129/moAdds Perplexity, 150 prompts shared
CustomQuotedOver 150 questions, your choice of engines and frequency

Scans run daily on every plan. Competitors cost nothing extra. Billing runs through Stripe by card and you can cancel any time. Custom plans are paid by bank transfer and quoted within a working day. There is no free trial. A free checker tests whether AI crawlers can read your site.

What works

Daily data at €15 is the headline. Otrak, at €19, runs weekly.

Stored answers matter more than the price. You get the text, not just a yes or no, so a drop can be read and explained to a client.

The mention framing is a sensible touch. Each mention is classed as recommended with conviction, mentioned without endorsement, or advised against. A plain mention count hides that difference.

The dashboard covers presence, share of voice, cited rate, average rank and cited sources with trends, plus a ranked list of fixes. Standard and Pro add unlimited brands and a client-ready PDF section for agencies.

Local measurement is real. Each brand picks a measurement country from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US. The marketing site runs in all 7 languages. The app and checkout are in English.

CiteLyzer also publishes an open-data study of AI brand mentions in Poland, with its methodology. That is a good sign for a small vendor.

What to check before paying

Engine coverage is thin. Perplexity only arrives on Pro at €129. Claude, Copilot and Grok are not offered on any self-serve plan.

The prompt pools are small and shared. Mini caps at 15 prompts. Standard's 50 prompts are split across every brand you add, so "unlimited brands" with ten clients means five prompts each.

Billing is monthly only, there is no trial, and checkout asks for a company VAT ID.

There is no API. No crawler log or traffic attribution feature is listed.

CiteLyzer is also clear that it is not an agency and does not change AI answers. You implement the fixes. That honesty is welcome, but it means the tool ends where the work starts.

Where it falls short of a full platform

A tracker answers "are we named?" A full AI visibility platform also answers why, and what it was worth.

CiteLyzer has no view on the fetch side. You cannot see whether ChatGPT's or Perplexity's crawlers read the page you fixed. It has no view on the revenue side either. A client who asks what an AI mention earned gets a share-of-voice chart and nothing more.

When Promptwatch is the better buy

Move when a client asks "why". Promptwatch answers that with three features CiteLyzer does not have.

Citation analytics shows the cited page, domain, Reddit thread, YouTube video and offsite mention, with citation trends over time. Agent Analytics logs ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler, with a crawl-to-citation path. Visitor analytics ties AI-referred visits to conversions.

Plan choice: Essential at $95 a month gives 50 prompts across all tracked LLMs, 6,000 responses and 200K visitor events, including Claude, Copilot and Grok. Crawler logs need Professional at $245 a month (25M logs, 150 prompts, 2 projects). Country tracking is on every plan, so a Polish or German market is covered. For agencies, Kick-off at $199 a month includes unlimited projects and prompts and 10 seats. Prices are also available in EUR.

For a freelancer testing ten prompts, note that Promptwatch Explore is free: 10 prompts, ChatGPT only, 1 project. CiteLyzer Mini wins on engines and daily answers across four surfaces for €15.

Verdict

Rank: best value daily tracker for local European markets, low on depth. CiteLyzer does the basics well and charges very little for them. It is a first step, not a program. When the report needs crawler evidence or revenue, Promptwatch Professional is the upgrade.
