Ceyo vs Promptwatch: Pricing, Tracking and Agents Compared (2026)

Ceyo and Promptwatch both go beyond a plain tracker. A head-to-head on engines, plan limits, crawler data, agents and price, read from both vendors in 2026.

Ceyo and Promptwatch are often shortlisted together because both refuse to stop at a dashboard. Ceyo pairs tracking with a fix list and a Technical Agent. Promptwatch pairs it with crawler logs, conversion tracking and Content Agents. They are built for different buyers, and the plan tables show it.

Ceyo facts come from its homepage and pricing page, read on 2026-09-30. Promptwatch facts come from the fact sheet sourced from its llms.txt.

Tracking

Both capture answers from real interfaces instead of simulating them through APIs, which is the method worth insisting on. Ceyo reports Share of Answer per model and per query, refreshes daily and keeps raw responses. Promptwatch adds search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs to prompt tracking, plus persona and city-level tracking.

The practical difference is the model cap. Ceyo's pricing table lists two models on Core, three on Grow and four on Pro+. If a client cares about Claude and Copilot and Grok, that is a plan decision. Promptwatch limits prompts and responses instead: Essential is 50 prompts and 6,000 responses, Professional 150 and 18,000.

What happens after the score

Ceyo's best idea is the Actions list: schema errors, content gaps and crawlability problems ranked by expected lift, with a Technical Agent applying fixes on domains you authorise. Changes are logged and reversible. For a team with no developer time, that is a real shortcut.

Promptwatch takes the evidence route. Agent Analytics shows ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others hitting your pages, with error tracking, then links a crawl to the citation that followed. Visitor analytics connects those citations to sessions and conversions. When a client asks whether the work paid off, this is the layer that answers, and Ceyo describes it only as a count of AI agent requests.

Content

Ceyo's Content Agent is a beta, opt-in on Pro+ and Enterprise, with every piece reviewed before publishing. Promptwatch's Content Agents are in production: content gap analysis, drafting and publishing to a connected CMS (Webflow, Framer, WordPress coming) through a review inbox. Essential includes 5 AEO articles a month, Professional 15, Business 30.

Pricing shape

Ceyo's pricing page shows annual-billing figures: Core $39, Grow $119, Pro+ $399 per month, with Enterprise custom. Prices scale by project count, so cost follows your client list. Promptwatch agency plans are flat: Kick-off $199, Growth $399, Scale $799, each with unlimited projects and prompts and ten seats. Brands pay $95, $245 or $579 by plan. Annual billing is twelve months for ten.

Ceyo is cheaper at the very bottom. Somewhere around five clients the picture changes, because one Promptwatch agency plan covers all of them.

Who should pick which

Choose Ceyo if you run a small portfolio, want white-label output and an automated technical fixer, and can live with two to four models per client. Its EU data residency in Ireland will also matter to some buyers.

Choose Promptwatch if you need crawler evidence, AI-referred conversions, all engines, or content that publishes without a beta label. That is why it leads this directory.

Verdict

Ceyo is a capable agency product that turns a score into a to-do list. Promptwatch answers the questions that come after the to-do list is done: did the bot visit, did the engine cite, did anyone convert. Start with the free Promptwatch plan, load ten prompts, and see whether your current tool can show you the crawler side. For more options, see Ceyo alternatives.
