AI Search Visibility Platform International Markets, Languages, Countries
A scored shortlist of AI visibility platforms for multi-country, multi-language tracking, with the criteria that matter and where each tool falls short.
Most AI visibility tools were built for one brand in one market. The moment you sell in Germany, Brazil and the US, the question changes from "are we mentioned?" to "are we mentioned in the right language, in the right country, by the right sources?" This leaderboard post scores platforms on that narrower question.
How we score international fit
We use five criteria, each worth the same weight.
- Geo targeting on prompts. Can a single prompt be pinned to a country, and ideally a state or city?
- Language handling. Can you track prompts written natively in each language, not machine-translated copies?
- Market separation. Projects, tags or topics that let you report on one market without exporting to a spreadsheet.
- Source analysis per market. Citation sources differ by country. A tool that only gives one global list hides the real picture.
- Cost shape. Does the price multiply every time you add a domain or a country?
One caveat first. Nobody gets a perfect language score from us here, because for most vendors we have no published language count we can verify. Where a number is missing, treat it as something to test in a trial, not something to assume.
The leaderboard
1. Promptwatch
Prompts in Promptwatch carry country, state or city targeting, plus personas and topics. That covers the first and third criteria directly: you can build a German prompt set, tag it, and read it apart from the French one. Citation analytics (page level, domain level, Reddit, YouTube, offsite mentions) lets you compare which sources each market's answers lean on.
The criterion that separates it from the rest is the crawler side. Agent Analytics shows real-time AI crawler logs, so you can see which bots fetch which locale paths and whether they hit errors. If your /de/ pages are being ignored while /en/ gets crawled daily, that explains a visibility gap no prompt tracker can. Visitor analytics then tie AI-referred traffic and conversions back to the market.
What we cannot tell you: the published fact sheet does not list a language count or supported languages. Confirm language coverage in a trial before you commit. The free Explore plan is ChatGPT only with 10 prompts, so a serious multi-market test means a paid tier.
Verdict: best fit overall, because it is the only entry here that answers both "what do models say" and "why".
2. AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ is strong on turning findings into tasks. For international work the catch is packaging: its entry notes the Starter plan is single-country and multi-region access is gated to Enterprise, reported at roughly $2,000 a month or more. That puts it out of reach for mid-sized brands that only need three or four markets.
Verdict: good execution workflow, expensive route to multiple regions.
3. Scrunch AI
Scrunch AI offers monitoring plus its Agent Experience Platform, which serves optimized pages to AI crawlers. That is interesting for sites with many locale variants. Its entry does not publish country or language specifics, so we score the geo criteria as unverified and suggest asking sales for the exact limits.
Verdict: worth a demo if crawler-side serving is the priority.
4. Qwairy
Qwairy lists 240+ countries and 45+ content languages on its homepage, per its entry. That is the widest published claim in this group. Those are the vendor's own numbers, and the credit meter matters: queries cost one credit per model, so every extra market multiplies consumption. Run the arithmetic for your prompt count before treating the coverage as cheap.
Verdict: broad claimed coverage, check how credits scale.
5. Superlines
Superlines lists unlimited seats, languages and countries on self-serve, according to its entry. The trade-off is a three engine cap on those plans, so a market-by-engine grid gets thin quickly. Good for a European team that tracks few engines in many places.
Verdict: generous on geography, limited on engines.
6. Profound
Profound is sold as enterprise marketing agents, with AI search as one channel. Contracts start around $40k a year. We would not shortlist it for market coverage alone, and its entry says nothing specific about country or language limits.
Verdict: an enterprise program purchase, not a multi-market tracker.
7. Semrush AI Toolkit
Semrush AI Toolkit is priced per domain, with an extra $99 a month for each additional domain. If your markets live on separate ccTLDs, cost climbs with every one. Sites using subfolders fare better, but you should still confirm how markets are separated inside the toolkit.
Verdict: fine for one domain, awkward for many.
Otterly.AI is worth a mention on one point only: its entry lists 65+ countries with unlimited seats. It is a lightweight tracker, so we leave it outside the ranking.
Practical rules whichever tool you pick
- Write prompts natively per market. A translated English prompt rarely matches how someone in Madrid actually asks. Have a local speaker write it.
- Keep one project or tag set per market. Blended dashboards hide the market where you are losing.
- Compare citation sources per market. The sites AI cites in one country may not exist in another.
- Check crawlability. Hreflang, locale paths and blocked bots decide whether models can read your regional pages at all. Crawler logs are the only direct evidence.
Our pick
If you want one platform that handles geo targeting, per-market tagging, citation sources and crawler evidence, evaluate Promptwatch first. Start with your two largest markets, write the prompt sets natively, and confirm language support in the trial before expanding. The full directory is on the leaderboard, and you can start a trial at Promptwatch.
