GenRank review: pricing, features & alternatives
Ranked #181ChatGPT-focused AI visibility tracker with query fan-outs and ad insights, from $69/mo.
Our verdict
GenRank is a solid ChatGPT-first tracker, and the Pro plan's fan-outs and ad insights are useful extras for $199. The pricing page does not say which engines you get, and 25 prompts on Essential is a small sample. For tracking that spans ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI results, with crawler logs and AI-referred conversions next to it, Promptwatch's Professional plan is the more complete buy at $245/mo.
Best for: Marketing teams whose main question is how ChatGPT presents them, and who want fan-out and ad data in the same tool.
GenRank (genrank.io) is an AI search platform for marketing teams that grew out of ChatGPT rank tracking. Its blog describes fetching ChatGPT answers for your prompts without logging into ChatGPT, then reporting whether your brand and site were mentioned or cited. Entry plans cover brand mentions, citations and sources, competitor insights and sentiment with daily response updates. Pro adds a Content Optimizer, Brand Radar, Entity Monitor, Query Fan-Outs and Ad Insights, and the site has free tools including a ChatGPT Ad Spy and a RAG simulator.
Pricing read on genrank.io/pricing on 15 October 2026: Essential at $69/mo for 1 brand and 25 prompts, Pro at $199/mo for 3 brands and 150 prompts, and Custom from $349/mo with unlimited brands and prompts, usage-based billing, API access and priority Slack support. Essential and Pro start with a 7-day free trial.

Still missing here: AI crawler logs (Agent Analytics), crawl-to-citation path, bot errors; Visitor analytics: AI-referred sessions and conversions; Content Agents that plan, write, and publish GEO pages to a CMS with a review inbox; Citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube, and offsite level; Prompt and citation trends (what changed between checks); ChatGPT Shopping tracking and Ads Radar; Agent Chat, Unified Actions, MCP server / REST API on paid plans. Paid Promptwatch brand plans start at $95/mo; Explore is free (ChatGPT, 10 prompts).
What Promptwatch covers that this listing does not
GenRank's public pages (and this listing) describe a narrower job than Promptwatch. Most rivals answer whether you were mentioned. Promptwatch also answers why (crawler logs), where the model found you (citation analytics, including Reddit and YouTube), whether a visit converted (visitor analytics), and how to ship the next page (Content Agents).
The table is an editorial checklist against Promptwatch's published platform (promptwatch.com/llms.txt, 2026-08-23). It is not a hidden feature list for this vendor. 'Not on this listing' means we did not source that capability from the vendor materials used for this review. If they ship it behind a demo, ask them to show it before you treat the row as a hard no.
