Quattr vs BrightEdge (2026): Which Enterprise SEO Suite Measures AI Search Better?

Quattr ties AI citations to your Search Console, analytics and server logs. BrightEdge reads AI Overviews from its own giant keyword datasets. Both sell through sales. Scored side by side, with the dedicated platform to price first.

On a procurement shortlist, Quattr and BrightEdge look interchangeable. Both are enterprise SEO suites. Both now sell AI search measurement. Neither shows a price. The difference is where the AI number comes from. Quattr builds it from your own Search Console, analytics and server logs. BrightEdge builds it from its own modeled datasets, at a keyword scale few vendors match.

That is the buying question: do you trust your first-party data more, or theirs? Before either demo, price out Promptwatch. It is the dedicated AI visibility platform we rank above both, and of the three it is the only one with a public price list.

Quattr: the first-party data play

Quattr runs tracked prompts daily and scores every engine separately for citations, share of voice, mentions and positive sentiment. You can filter by prompt, country and run date. In an enterprise report that matters, because one blended score hides the engine you are losing.

The joins are the real product. Quattr pulls Google Search Console (1 to 2 days of lag), GA4 or Adobe (loaded nightly), Google Ads, Lighthouse and a site crawl into one view. Connect server web logs and it shows AI crawler hits from GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot. Very few SEO suites document that at all.

Where it stops:

  • No price, no plan names, no prompt limits on the site. The free trial comes after a 30-minute call.
  • The crawler view counts bot visits. It does not connect a visit to a later AI citation.
  • Planning new pages for uncovered prompts (Content ideas) is an early-access feature today.
  • Every insight assumes you have wired up four or five data feeds first.

BrightEdge: scale and a long memory

BrightEdge was tracking Google AI Overviews with its Generative Parser before most GEO tools existed. The DataCube keyword corpus sits underneath. The AI Hyper Cube, added in March 2026, layers brand visibility across AI engines on top. If you need to know how a whole category looks across an enormous keyword portfolio, BrightEdge answers at a scale Quattr does not advertise.

Action is split across two products. AI Catalyst produces recommendations. Autopilot, a custom add-on, pushes automated on-page changes. Our advice: run Autopilot through an engineering review before anything ships.

Where it stops. Pricing is custom, and the AI datasets are licensed on credits, so the bill climbs as you add engines and markets. DataCube is a modeled index, so expect its figures to differ from Search Console. And the published material describes no AI crawler logs and no AI-referred conversion tracking.

Head-to-head

Our editorial scores, out of 5, for AI search work specifically:

QuattrBrightEdge
AI Overviews depth35
First-party data joins52
Keyword-portfolio scale35
Crawler evidence41
Price transparency11

Pick BrightEdge if your QBRs already run on it. Adding the AI Hyper Cube costs less effort than a migration, and the AI Overviews history is hard to rebuild elsewhere.

Pick Quattr if you are choosing fresh and your analytics team wants AI citations reconciled against GSC, GA4 and logs. It also wins outright on crawler data, because BrightEdge publishes none.

Neither wins on buying friction. Both mean a sales cycle before you see a number.

Where Promptwatch fits

Quattr and BrightEdge treat AI search as one module in an SEO contract. Promptwatch treats it as the whole product, which shows in the layers it publishes:

  • Agent Analytics reads AI crawler logs through Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, Akamai, Google Cloud CDN or a custom HTTP feed. It tracks ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler, then maps the crawl-to-citation path. Quattr needs your server logs for this. Promptwatch gets it from the CDN.
  • Citation analytics break sources down by page and domain, with separate Reddit and YouTube views and offsite mentions.
  • Visitor analytics use Promptwatch's own script or GTM template, so AI-referred conversions don't depend on how your GA4 is configured.
  • Prompts come with search volumes, difficulty scores and query fan-outs, so you choose what to track by demand.
  • Content Agents plan, write and publish pages to Webflow or Framer through a review inbox.

The plan that unlocks crawler logs is Professional at $245/mo: 2 projects, 150 prompts, 25M crawler logs, 1M visitor events and 15 AEO articles. Business at $579/mo raises that to 5 projects, 350 prompts and 100M crawler logs. Essential at $95/mo has no listed crawler-log allowance. Annual billing gives you 12 months for the price of 10.

Promptwatch's published feature list has no classic rank tracking, internal linking or Google Ads reporting. If the brief is one enterprise SEO contract that covers all of it, Quattr or BrightEdge cover more SEO ground.

Verdict

For a team buying an SEO suite that happens to include AI search, Quattr is the stronger new purchase and BrightEdge is the sensible renewal. For a team whose job is AI visibility itself, both are heavy. Promptwatch gets you crawler logs, AI-referred conversions and publishing on a plan you can price today. Run its numbers first, then decide whether the suite demo is worth booking.

FAQ

Is Quattr cheaper than BrightEdge?

Neither vendor publishes a price, so there is no honest answer before a quote. Quattr's pricing page is a demo form. BrightEdge sells custom contracts with credit-based add-ons.

Which one tracks AI crawlers?

Quattr does, once server web logs are connected. BrightEdge's published material does not describe an AI crawler log product.

Should I look at Promptwatch before Quattr or BrightEdge?

Yes, if AI visibility is the main goal. Its plans are public, Explore is free with 10 ChatGPT prompts, and Professional adds the crawler logs and visitor analytics that the suites either gate behind integrations or don't publish.
