Promptwatch vs Sistrix vs Authoritas vs AccuRanker (2026)

Three European rank trackers that added AI tracking, ranked against Promptwatch, a platform built for AI search from day one.

If you run SEO for a European brand or agency, there is a good chance one of these three is already in your stack. SISTRIX has been the reference visibility index in German-speaking markets since 2008. Authoritas built some of the most detailed AI Overview tracking anywhere. AccuRanker is the rank tracker people pick when refresh speed matters more than anything else. All three have added AI tracking. The question for this page is whether that add-on is enough, or whether AI search needs its own tool.

How we ranked

We asked the same four things of each tool. How much of AI search does it cover beyond Google AI Overviews? Can you see which pages the engines cite, and why? Can you connect AI visibility to traffic and conversions? And what does it cost a European team to get there, including the add-ons?

We did not score classic rank tracking. On keyword positions, backlink data or market history these three have years of head start, and this isn't a contest about that. Every price and feature below for SISTRIX, Authoritas and AccuRanker comes from their entries in our catalog. Promptwatch figures come from its llms.txt, re-checked on 15 October 2026. Where a vendor doesn't publish something, we say so.

1. Promptwatch

Promptwatch is the only tool here that was designed for AI answers rather than retrofitted onto a SERP tracker. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Copilot, DeepSeek, Mistral and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode through the real interfaces, not only APIs. Prompts come with search volumes, difficulty scores, query fan-outs, personas and country tracking on every plan, with state and city tracking from Professional.

The difference from the rank trackers shows up in what sits next to the tracking. Citation analytics go to the page and domain level and include Reddit and YouTube citations and offsite mentions, with trends over time. Agent Analytics records AI crawler visits from bots like ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, with crawl errors and the path from crawl to citation. Visitor analytics attribute AI-referred sessions to conversions. Content Agents plan, write and publish to Webflow, Framer or WordPress.

For European budgets, prices are available in EUR as well as USD. In dollars: Explore is free (10 prompts, ChatGPT only), Essential is $95 a month with a 7-day trial, Professional is $245 with 25M crawler logs, and Business is $579. Agency plans start at $199. Annual billing gives 12 months for the price of 10.

2. Authoritas

Authoritas comes closest to a dedicated AI tool of the three incumbents. Its separate AI Search Tracker is credit-based, runs from free up to £1,125 a month, and covers 7 AI engines with AI Overview expansion. The catalog doesn't name the seven engines, so ask before you buy.

The AI Overview work is where Authoritas earns its place. Its bot clicks "Show More", expands citation lists and scrolls carousels to capture AI Overview pages other tools miss, and it reports which URLs are cited across your keyword portfolio. The SERPs API exposes that data if you want to build your own reporting.

The core SEO platform has a free tier (1 site, 1,000 rank credits), Essential at £99 a month, and Advanced or Expert between £399 and £799, with BigQuery on the top tier. One practical warning: its own pages mix GBP and USD pricing, so confirm your currency before you sign. The listing doesn't document crawler logs, AI-referred conversion tracking or content publishing.

3. SISTRIX

SISTRIX is infrastructure in the DACH market. If your clients report on the Visibility Index, you are probably keeping SISTRIX regardless of what else you buy. Its AI Overview Hub shows the cited URL and its position inside the AI box, and the SERP Archive stores the full AI Overview text. Click-potential analysis estimates what those generative results do to your traffic.

Two things hold it back as an AI search tool. First, AI Overviews don't feed the Visibility Index. The number your clients trust can hold steady while AI answers take the clicks it used to represent. Second, the AI coverage documented in our catalog is Google AI Overviews. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini aren't listed.

Pricing went up in May 2026. Start moved from €99 to €119 a month plus VAT (core modules, 1 seat), and Premium from €599 to €799. Plus is €239 and Professional is €419, which is where API access and 13 years of data history begin. Extra seats cost €24.90 a month, and the entry records no annual discount.

4. AccuRanker

AccuRanker is still the fastest rank tracker in this group, with daily updates plus on-demand refreshes. Its core product flags which tracked keywords trigger AI Overviews and whether you're cited in them, next to SERP feature history and share-of-voice reporting. For ChatGPT and Perplexity there is AccuLLM, a separate product covering ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews brand visibility. Our catalog has no price for AccuLLM.

The entry point is high for a team that mainly wants AI data. Professional costs $224 a month for 2,000 to 5,000 keywords, and there is no smaller plan since the old $129 tier was retired. Each keyword, location and device combination takes a slot, so 100 keywords tracked in 3 cities on 2 devices uses 600. Expert is $764 for 10,000 to 25,000 keywords, and Enterprise is custom. Our entry also suggests reading the renewal and cancellation terms before you sign an annual plan.

Who should pick which

Keep SISTRIX if the Visibility Index is a client KPI and your market is German-speaking Europe, and accept that its AI view is limited to AI Overviews. Pick Authoritas if you want the most forensic AI Overview capture on this page plus a credit-based tracker for seven engines, and you can live with mixed-currency pricing pages. Pick AccuRanker if you already track thousands of keywords and refresh speed is the reason you pay, and budget separately for AccuLLM.

Pick Promptwatch if AI answers are now a channel you report on, rather than a SERP feature you note in passing.

Our recommendation

Most European teams will keep their rank tracker. The better question is what to add next to it, and our answer is Promptwatch. None of the three incumbents documents what happens before or after the citation. Agent Analytics fills the first gap by showing which AI crawlers reach your pages and where they hit errors. Citation analytics show which pages, Reddit threads and YouTube videos ChatGPT and Perplexity cite, which goes well past a Google-only view. Visitor analytics close the loop by tying AI-referred sessions to conversions, and Content Agents turn the gaps into drafts you approve and publish. Professional at $245 a month is the plan that includes crawler logs and city tracking, and it costs about what AccuRanker charges for keywords alone.
