Foglift's developer surface arrives at Launch, $49 a month. That plan includes the authenticated REST API, the CLI (npx foglift-scan) and an MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf. The free tier includes unlimited Technical Audits and AI Crawler Analytics, but the API, CLI and MCP start at Launch.
Monitoring is metered in tokens. Perplexity and Claude cost 5 tokens per prompt run, ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Gemini cost 3. Launch includes 4,000 tokens, Growth ($129) 11,500, Enterprise custom. Gemini is tracked ungrounded, so it yields no citations. Overage is $9 per 500 tokens and tokens expire monthly.
What you can pull is visibility across five engines, citations, query fan-outs, AI Crawler Analytics and a referral tracker, plus the Technical Audit results and AI Readiness Score. The audit half is the standout for CI use: the vendor pitches running audits in CI, so a build step can check AI readiness before deploy.
Visiblee: an API key on the $29 plan
Visiblee gives you API, MCP and CLI access on every plan, including Starter at $29 with one API key. Pro ($99) has 3 keys, Scale ($199) and Enterprise ($399) have 5. Base models on every plan are ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, tracked daily. Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are add-ons from Pro with no price shown. Gemini is not listed.
Quotas are the limit. Starter is one project and 10 prompts. Pro is 3 projects and 40 prompts. Scale is 5 projects and 100 prompts with two seats. Customer segments let you run the same prompt as different buyer personas, from 3 on Starter to 25 on Scale. The data you pull is answers, citations, competitors and Reddit opportunities.
There is no content generation, no crawler logs and no conversion tracking. Visiblee is a clean data source, not a platform.
Promptwatch: API v2, MCP and the layers under the answer
Promptwatch publishes REST API v2, an MCP server, a Claude Connector, a ChatGPT plugin and Slack, plus integrations with Google Search Console, Looker Studio, DataForSEO and Firecrawl. Developers get the same access as the dashboard: prompt tracking with volumes and fan-outs, citation analytics at page, domain, Reddit, YouTube and offsite level, Agent Analytics crawler logs, visitor analytics with conversions, and the Content Agents.
The crawler-log layer is the difference for engineering teams. Agent Analytics ingests logs from Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, Akamai, Google Cloud CDN or a custom HTTP endpoint, and shows real-time hits from ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler with a crawl-to-citation path and error tracking. Pick Visiblee if you want the cheapest possible API key and four engines including both Google AI surfaces, and you can live with 10 to 40 prompts. Pick Foglift if audits in CI are the job, or you want five engines and an MCP server for $49 and are willing to do the token arithmetic.
