Best AI Visibility Trackers Under $50 a Month in 2026

Nine AI visibility trackers with a published entry price under $50 a month, what each one actually includes at that price, and where the free Promptwatch Explore plan fits.

A year ago the cheapest way to see whether ChatGPT mentioned your brand was a $29 tracker with a week-old data lag. That has changed. A new set of vendors now publishes entry plans between $19 and $49, several of them with daily runs and an API. This roundup covers the ones we added to the directory this week, what the entry price really buys, and the trade that every one of them makes to hit the number.

Every price below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 12 September 2026. Where a vendor shows only an annual-billing figure, we say so. Promptwatch facts come from the fact sheet sourced from promptwatch.com/llms.txt.

The free baseline: Promptwatch Explore

Before spending anything, note that Promptwatch has a free Explore plan: 10 prompts on ChatGPT, one project, one seat. It is ChatGPT only, so it is a taste rather than a monitor. The reason to start there is that the paid step up, Essential at $95 a month with a 7-day trial, is the cheapest plan on this list that includes layers the sub-$50 trackers all skip: citation analytics down to Reddit and YouTube, visitor analytics with conversions (200K visitor events), and five AEO articles a month from the Content Agents. The crawler-log allotment for Agent Analytics is listed from Professional at $245 (25M crawler logs). Keep that in mind as the comparison point.

$19: Passionfruit and Aiso

Passionfruit Lite is $19 a month for ChatGPT only, 20 prompts run daily, page-level citation tracking, unlimited competitors and unlimited seats. The hook is the Google Analytics connection that shows sessions, key events and revenue per AI channel next to visibility. Gemini and Perplexity arrive at $49, Claude at $99, and Google AI Overviews only on a custom plan.

Aiso Starter is also $19 a month at review time, though the page labels it a summer sale. You get 50 tracked prompts, three AI models of your choice, daily tracking, unlimited users and a hosted MCP server. The real reason to look at Aiso is its data: prompts come from a consent panel of real ChatGPT conversations rather than a list you type, and the Fan-outs view shows the hidden sub-queries behind each answer. The catch is the cliff after Starter. Pro is $215.

$29: Visiblee, Allmond and Cockpyt

Visiblee Starter is $29 for one project and 10 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, daily, with REST API, MCP and CLI access included. Ten prompts is thin, but no other tracker at this price gives developers an API key on day one.

Allmond Starter is $29 for 240 scans and 500 citation checks. A scan is one prompt on one LLM in one country, and every plan unlocks every feature: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, 67+ countries, unlimited projects. The trade is cadence. Scheduled tracking is weekly or monthly, with no daily option on the pricing page.

Cockpyt AI Solo is 29 EUR excluding tax for one project and 15 questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, scanned weekly via the engines' official APIs. What you get for that is unusual at the price: a monthly GEO audit with a 33-point checklist and a hallucination check that compares what the engines say about your prices against your own site. French vendor, GDPR-compliant and hosted in Europe.

$37 to $39: Wellows and Ayzeo

Wellows Lite is $37 per domain for ChatGPT only, 40 prompts, daily monitoring and unlimited verified outreach contacts. Its angle is the split between explicit citations (the answer names you) and implicit ones (your domain sits inside a cited page). Five-engine coverage costs $297 per domain.

Ayzeo Starter is $39 per project for 20 prompts on ChatGPT and Google AI Overview, with unlimited seats and generated JSON-LD and llms.txt fixes. Every additional engine (Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok) is $29 a month per model per project, so a four-engine project costs more in add-ons than in base plan.

$49: Foglift, Orchly and Rank Prompt

Foglift Launch is $49 for 4,000 monitoring tokens a month across all five engines (ChatGPT with web search, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Claude, Gemini), daily, with API, CLI and MCP. Tokens cost 3 to 5 per prompt per engine, so 20 prompts daily across four engines burns about 8,400 tokens, more than Launch includes. Its free tier gives unlimited technical audits and AI crawler analytics for nothing.

Orchly Essential is $49 for 25 AI prompts refreshed daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity, plus Google rank tracking, Reddit monitoring and 20 articles created or refreshed a month, published after your approval. Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Claude are paid add-ons with no price shown.

Rank Prompt Starter is $39.17 a month billed annually, or $49 monthly per the on-page calculator, for 150 credits across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode. Gemini and Grok cost an extra credit per prompt, and articles cost 10, so the credit pool is shared between tracking and everything else.

The trade every cheap tracker makes

Read the fine print in the same order every time. First, engine count: at $19 to $29 you usually get one engine or three of your choice, and Google's AI surfaces are often missing (Allmond, Passionfruit Lite, Aiso Starter). Second, cadence: Allmond and Cockpyt are weekly, Foglift's free tier is weekly. Third, quota: 10 to 20 prompts is the norm below $40. Fourth, and most important, none of these plans publish what sits under the answer. No crawler-log view of which bots fetched your pages. No conversion attribution beyond a GA hook. No CMS publishing with review.

That last gap is where the Promptwatch brand plans earn their price difference. Essential at $95 monitors real UIs across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and adds visitor conversions and Content Agents; Professional at $245 adds the Agent Analytics crawler-log allotment. If you only need a yes-or-no on mentions, buy the cheapest tracker that covers your engines. If you need to know why visibility moved and whether it converted, the sub-$50 tier cannot tell you.

Quick picks

Cheapest daily tracker with revenue in view: Passionfruit Lite at $19. Cheapest API access: Visiblee at $29. Cheapest real-conversation prompt data: Aiso Starter at $19. Most engines for the money: Foglift Launch at $49, with the token math checked. Best free tier: Foglift for audits and crawler analytics, Promptwatch Explore for the platform you will grow into. Otterly.AI also starts at $29 and remains a credible entry-level tracker, but the newer entrants above give you more at the same price.

FAQ

Which tracker under $50 covers the most engines?

Foglift Launch at $49 covers five (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Claude, Gemini), metered in tokens. Visiblee at $29 covers four including both Google AI surfaces. Rank Prompt's four standard engines cost one credit per prompt.

Do any of these include AI crawler logs?

Foglift includes AI Crawler Analytics and a referral tracker on every plan, including free, but does not document CDN integrations or a crawl-to-citation path. None of the others publish crawler logs. Promptwatch Agent Analytics does, with a 25M crawler-log allotment listed from the $245 Professional plan on the brand side and 10M from the $199 Kick-off plan for agencies.

Is a free plan enough to start?

For a first look, yes. Promptwatch Explore gives 10 ChatGPT prompts free, Foglift gives unlimited technical audits, and Rank Prompt runs a full visibility report before any trial. For ongoing measurement you will need a paid plan.
