How to Use Promptwatch 360 Insights to Find Untapped Pages

360 Insights joins AI crawls, citation crawls, AI clicks, and Google and Bing traffic per page. How to set it up and read the Untapped signal first.

The fastest AI search wins are usually pages models already read and never use. A crawler fetched them last week. Nobody cited them. Nobody clicked through. Those pages don't need to be discovered. They need to become citable, and you can't find them from a mention chart because a mention chart has no idea what a crawler fetched.

Promptwatch 360 Insights is built to surface exactly that. It puts crawler logs, AI-referred visits, and citations on the same axis, the page, and adds a Google and Bing overlay. We rank Promptwatch first in this directory for teams that want one URL's whole AI story in one row, and 360 Insights is the clearest example of why. The details below come from Promptwatch's 360 Insights documentation, read October 15, 2026.

What it is

Three pages under the Analytics tile in the left rail:

  • AI Insights. Project totals, a crawl and citation activity chart, top crawlers, referrers and countries, and the per-page Signals table.
  • Topic Insights. Your pages grouped by theme, showing which themes earn AI activity and which underdeliver for their size.
  • Search Insights. Google and Bing clicks, impressions, and position next to AI citations, clicks, and crawls for the same pages.

Each page has a 7 or 30 day toggle. On AI Insights and Topic Insights the period ends yesterday, because the numbers come from a daily rollup. The 30-day option stays disabled until 30 days of data exist. After first turning on crawler logs, expect 24 to 48 hours before metrics appear.

Plan check

360 Insights is included on Essential ($95/mo), Professional ($245/mo), Business ($579/mo), and Enterprise. It is not on Explore and it is not on the agency plans. Agencies are asked to contact sales. That matters if you are an agency comparing tiers: Kick-off, Growth, and Scale trade this view away for unlimited projects.

Essential lists no crawler-log allowance, and AI Insights needs crawler log data to unlock. In practice that makes Professional the realistic floor for the AI Insights page. Search Insights only needs a Google Search Console property or a Bing Webmaster site.

Set it up in three connections

  1. Crawler logs. Required for AI Insights and Topic Insights. Promptwatch ingests from Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront, Fastly, Vercel, Netlify, Akamai, Google Cloud CDN, a custom HTTP endpoint, or the WordPress plugin.
  2. Visitor analytics. Not required to unlock the page, but it is what fills Citation Clicks, Top AI Referrers, and Top Citation Click Countries. Without it you see crawls and no outcomes.
  3. Search Console and Bing Webmaster. Each is two steps: connect the account once under Settings, Integrations, then pick the property or verified site per project under Project settings. Topic Insights also needs a sitemap with discovered or crawled URLs.

Read the Signals table first

The table has a row per page with four numbers that sound alike and aren't:

  • AI Crawls. Fetches from indexing bots such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot. Answer-fetch bots are excluded.
  • Citation Crawls. Fetches from answer-fetch bots such as ChatGPT-User, Perplexity-User, and Claude-User, which pull a page in the moment to cite it.
  • Citation Clicks. AI-referred visits that landed on the page.
  • LLM Citations. How often the page was cited across your tracked prompts.

Reading across a row separates a page models ingest from one they fetch to cite from one that earns a click. Each row also gets a Signal badge: Authority, Emerging, Untapped, Active, Low Signal, or Dormant.

Filter to Untapped first. Those are pages indexing crawlers visit often while citation crawls and clicks stay low. The model is reading them and not using them. The gap is how citable and current the page is, which is a rewrite, not a technical fix. Content Refresh in the same product is the obvious next step.

Dormant pages are the opposite case: essentially no crawls or engagement. Check reachability before touching copy, meaning robots.txt, the sitemap, and internal links.

A separate Tracking opportunity badge marks pages with real AI referrer traffic but no tracked citations. Those are prompts you aren't monitoring yet. Add them.

Then Topic Insights and Search Insights

Topic Insights ranks themes into Best Performing, Worst Performing, and Most Popular. The Worst Performing card only lists themes with at least as many pages as the median whose activity per page sits below the median. A big content area that AI notices but doesn't reward is where to look first. A theme needs three pages to be ranked.

Search Insights answers whether the pages winning in AI answers are also winning in classic search. A page with AI citations and Google demand is where one rewrite pays twice. One detail: daily Bing totals include Copilot, news, image, and video alongside web results, while the Pages and queries tables use a separate weekly, web-only feed.
