Best Platforms for Agentic Engine Optimization
Ten agentic engine optimization platforms ranked on six checks: AI answers, crawler logs, conversions, actions, execution and approval. Promptwatch is the only row with six yeses.
We ranked ten platforms on six checks, and one row clears all six.
This leaderboard ranks agentic engine optimization platforms on what they can do with AI engines, not on what the demo implies. Every cell comes from the tool's entry in our directory. Where an entry is silent, the cell says "not published". For the longer explainer on what agentic means for AEO and GEO, read agentic engine optimization platforms for AEO and GEO.

Count the columns. Three rows see AI crawlers. One row ties AI-referred visits to conversions. Three rows document a human approval step. Only Promptwatch has a yes in all six.
Note on row 1: Promptwatch crawler logs start on Professional ($245/mo) and come with every agency plan. Essential lists no crawler-log allowance.
The six checks
- AI answers: scheduled prompts on more than one engine. One engine is a sample.
- AI crawlers: logs of bot requests to your pages. Without them, a missing citation has no cause.
- Visitors and conversions: AI-referred sessions tied to an outcome.
- Recommends: a named page, prompt or fix. A score is not a recommendation.
- Executes: publishes content, opens a pull request, or changes what a crawler receives.
- Approval: a human gate before anything goes live.
Checks 1 to 3 carry more weight than 4 to 6. An agent is only as good as what it can see. That is why a row with fewer yeses can rank above a row with more: what matters is which checks it passes.
Rankings
1. Promptwatch: six of six
Engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral and Copilot, plus AI Overviews and AI Mode. Daily on paid brand plans, read from real product UIs. Crawlers: Agent Analytics names ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleOther and the Meta AI crawler, with a crawl-to-citation path and error tracking. Conversions: visitor analytics through a script or GTM template. Actions: Unified Actions, an AI-generated to-do list, plus content gap analysis. Execution: Content Agents publish to Webflow, Framer or WordPress. Approval: a review inbox. Access: MCP server and REST API on every paid plan.
Prices: Essential $95/mo (50 prompts). Professional $245/mo (150 prompts, 25M crawler logs, 5 AEO articles). Business $579/mo (350 prompts, 100M crawler logs, 10 AEO articles, automated Content Agent). Agency plans from $199/mo with unlimited projects and prompts.
Verdict: the benchmark. Start on Professional if check 2 matters to you.
2. AthenaHQ: queue, no crawler view
Passes 1 and 4. Partial on 3 (GA4, Shopify and Webflow revenue attribution) and 5 (automated schema and entity tagging). Fails 2: no crawler analytics on the listing. Starter is $295/mo ($245 annual), 9 engines, one country, credit-based. Personas and multi-region sit on Enterprise.
Verdict: the best task queue outside Promptwatch. Your team still ships most of it. It ranks above Scrunch because its partials sit on attribution and actions, the end of the loop that pays.
3. Scrunch AI: acts at the edge
Passes 1, 2 and 5. The Agent Experience Platform serves AI-optimized page variants to LLM crawlers without touching the human page, and crawler traffic analytics are listed. Fails 4: the listing says it shows where you're not cited, not what to change. Data refreshes weekly. Starter $250/mo annual ($300 monthly). Up to nine engines on Enterprise.
Verdict: real execution, but it needs an engineer and a separate source of advice.
4. Profound: widest engines, gated agents
Passes 1, and at the top end it's the widest: up to ten engines on Enterprise. Prompt Volumes adds demand data. Marketing agents for AEO, content, demand and PR are Enterprise only. Starter $99/mo annual is ChatGPT only with 50 prompts. Growth $399/mo annual covers 3 engines. Enterprise starts around $40k a year. Checks 2, 3 and 6 are not published.
Verdict: an enterprise agent program, not a self-serve AI search platform.
5. Relixir: executor, narrow view
Passes 1 (four engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, AI Overviews), 4 and 5. Rex writes, refreshes on a 30 to 60 day cycle, and publishes to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful or Framer. Pricing is custom and setup is forward-deployed by Relixir's team. Approval is not published.
Verdict: strong at publishing, short on evidence, no public price.
6. Rankverse: the measuring fixer
Passes 1: real prompts against ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, scored on position, citation and recommendation quality. Passes 4: four scores per page (SEO, AEO, GEO, AI Visibility), ranked by traffic impact. Passes 5: fixes ship as pull requests on GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, and it publishes to WordPress, Medium, Dev.to, Hashnode, Ghost and Blogger. Growth from INR 3,999/mo with a 14-day trial, no card.
Verdict: the best measurement in the automation group.
7. Encited: crawl logs for coding agents
Passes 2: crawl log analysis through its edge proxy from Essential. Passes 5: auto-fixes for meta tags and link previews, plus pre-rendering for JavaScript sites. A hosted MCP server works with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and Lovable. Answer tracking is small: 3 ChatGPT prompts on Basic ($19/mo), 15 on Essential ($39/mo annual), 100 on Agency.
Verdict: infrastructure for an agent you already run. Light on answers.
8. Writesonic GEO: writer first
Passes 1 with three self-serve engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews). Drafts 15 to 50 AI articles a month by tier. The Action Center and five more engines are Enterprise only. Starter $79/mo annual ($99 monthly).
Verdict: a writer with a tracker attached.
9. Seology: safe fixer
Partial on 1: GEO checks for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini run inside a 200+ check audit. Passes 4, 5 and 6. Co-pilot mode proposes and waits, fixes ship as pull requests, and rollback is a git revert. Free Starter for one site. Pro $49/mo for five.
Verdict: good hygiene, not a measurement tool.
10. Okara: approved PRs
Passes 5 and 6. The Coding Agent opens daily pull requests for schema, llms.txt, canonicals and meta tags, and nothing merges without approval. Partial on 1: 15 AI search prompts on AI CMO Lite ($129/mo, $108 annual). Checks 2 and 3 are not published.
Verdict: ships fixes well, sees little.
Who should pick which
- Full loop on one login: Promptwatch.
- A team that will work a task queue in one market: AthenaHQ.
- Crawler-side serving with engineering support: Scrunch AI.
- An enterprise agent program with a five-figure budget: Profound.
- An agent writing into Contentful: Relixir.
- A repo-based site with a PR workflow: Rankverse, Seology or Okara, paired with a platform that covers checks 2 and 3.
- An MCP-first team: Encited for infrastructure, or the Promptwatch MCP server if you also need the measurement behind it.
Bottom line
Checks 2 and 3 decide this table. Most rows can produce output. Very few can show whether a crawler fetched the result or whether the visit converted. Promptwatch does both, then acts on the same data through Content Agents and holds every draft in a review inbox. Explore is free with 10 ChatGPT prompts. Essential is $95/mo with a 7-day trial. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10.
